St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington, DC is a historic landmark. Koppers Fabricators, Inc. worked closely with the church administers and maintenance department to restore the historic fencing. We also added a new section of fencing to match. The historic fencing components were traditional iron and contained lead. Koppers Fabricators worked carefully and skillfully to remove damaged parts and sections while keeping as much of the original ironwork as possible. Once the fencing was properly restored, we had them epoxy painted to keep them from rusting. The historic iron fencing will stand the test time for another 100 years.
